Frequently asked questions
I bought Remove Ads and the Premium Pack and changed phones. How do I get it back?
One-time purchases are tied to the Google account you bought them with on Google Play. Sign in to that same account on the new device, install Tappy Bird from Google Play and open it; the purchase is restored once Google Play confirms it. Consumable items, such as coin packs, are used up once spent and are not restored.
If a purchase does not come back, email us with the Google Play order number (it starts with GPA.).
I reinstalled and my progress is gone.
Progress, coins and settings are stored on your device only. There is no account and no cloud copy, so uninstalling the app removes that data. Purchases are the exception: they come back as described above.
How do I get a refund?
Payments for Remove Ads, the Premium Pack and the coin pack are processed by Google Play, so refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. You can request one from your Google Play order history. Google explains the options in its refund help article.
The leaderboard is empty, or my score is not showing.
The leaderboard and achievements use Google Play Games. Sign in to Play Games on the device to post scores.
How do I change my ad choices?
Players in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland see Google's consent form on first launch. In the game, open Settings → Privacy Settings. The option appears only where consent is required.
How do I reset my progress?
In the game, Settings → Reset Progress clears local game data. Purchases are kept.
Deleting your data
Tappy Bird does not use accounts and keeps your game data on the device. Uninstalling the app removes it. We do not hold a copy on a server. Data processed by Google services (ads, Google Play, Play Games) is covered by Google's privacy policy.
