Privacy Policy for Brain Bolt (iOS)

1. Introduction

Brain Bolt is developed by VibeDeV and published by VIBECORE DIGITAL ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our iOS game application.

Brain Bolt is an offline-first trivia game: questions are bundled with the app and answered entirely on your device. We do not operate our own servers, we do not ask you to create an account, and we do not build personal profiles.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Automatically Collected Information

• Google AdMob (advertising): AdMob may collect an advertising identifier (IDFA), device information, app-interaction data, and approximate (coarse) location derived from your IP address in order to serve and measure ads. AdMob does not receive precise/GPS location from this app.
• Game Data: Your progress, ELO rating, streaks, coins, achievements and settings are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to us.
• Crash and Diagnostic Data: Anonymous crash and performance data, and only where your device is set to share it with developers. You control this in the iOS Settings app under Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
• Purchases: In-app purchases (for example Remove Ads and coin packs) are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We receive confirmation that a purchase occurred so we can unlock the item; we never see or store your payment details.

2.2 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Precise / GPS location
• Camera or microphone access
• Contact list or personal files
• Social media accounts
• Health, fitness or financial data

3. How We Use Information

• Provide and improve the game experience
• Serve and measure advertisements through AdMob
• Analyze app performance and fix technical issues
• Save your game progress and settings locally
• Process in-app purchases securely through the Apple App Store

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share limited technical data with:

• Google AdMob: For advertising purposes (subject to Google's Privacy Policy)
• Apple Game Center: For leaderboards and sign-in, and only if your device is signed in to Game Center. Your Game Center nickname and score are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit): For processing in-app purchases

5. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

Before the advertising identifier (IDFA) can be used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies, iOS asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, the game still works normally and you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant.

You can change this decision at any time in the iOS Settings app → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

6. Advertising Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalised ads are served, using Google's User Messaging Platform. Your choice is recorded on your device and applied to the ads you see.

You can change or withdraw that consent at any time from Settings → Privacy Settings inside the game. Where consent is not required, that option is not shown.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Our app is designed to be family-friendly but is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. No registration or personal details are required to play. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.

8. Data Security

Your game data is stored locally on your device. Data transmitted by the services above is encrypted in transit. We implement appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction of data.

9. Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services:

10. Your Choices

• App Tracking: Manage the tracking permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
• Ad Consent: Where applicable, manage or withdraw consent from Settings → Privacy Settings in the game
• Remove Ads: The "Remove Ads" in-app purchase removes banner and interstitial advertising
• Game Center: Leaderboards are optional. You can sign out of Game Center in the iOS Settings app at any time and continue playing
• Reset Progress: Settings → Data → Reset All Progress clears your local game data
• Data Deletion: Deleting the app removes all locally stored game data. Because we hold no account and no server-side copy, there is nothing further for us to delete

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
