I bought Remove Ads (or reinstalled). How do I get it back?

Remove Ads is a one-time, non-consumable purchase tied to your Apple ID, so you never pay twice. On a new device or after reinstalling, open Settings → Restore Purchases in the app and Remove Ads will be re-applied. Coin packs are consumable: they are added to your balance when purchased and spent in the game, so consumables cannot be restored.

Why does the leaderboard look empty?

Brain Bolt's global leaderboard is powered by Apple Game Center and fills up as players post scores. Before the app is publicly released (for example while it is in TestFlight), there are few or no other players, so it can look empty. Sign in to Game Center and play a few rounds to appear on it; it populates once the app is live and more people are playing.

I got a new phone (or reinstalled) and my progress is gone.

Your progress, ELO, streaks, coins and achievements are stored locally on your device. Brain Bolt has no account and no cloud save, so uninstalling the app or switching devices starts a fresh profile. This is also why we collect so little about you.

How do I change my ad or tracking choices?

You can change the iOS tracking permission any time in the Settings app → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, you can also update or withdraw personalised-ads consent from Settings → Privacy Settings inside the game. Prefer no ads at all? Use the Remove Ads in-app purchase.

Do I need an account to play?

No. Brain Bolt is fully playable offline with no sign-up. Game Center sign-in is optional and only used for global leaderboards.
