1. Acceptance

By downloading or playing Brain Bolt (the “Game”), developed by VibeDeV and published by VIBECORE DIGITAL (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game. This page covers the iOS version from the Apple App Store.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Brain Bolt for personal, non-commercial entertainment on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

3. Eligibility

Brain Bolt is a family-friendly trivia game. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please use the Game with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Purchases require permission from the account holder responsible for the payment method.

4. Virtual Items & Coins

• Coins and cosmetic items (themes, owl skins, avatars and frames) are a limited license to use in-game content. They are cosmetic only and never change a score, an answer or your ranking.
• Coins and items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Virtual items may be modified, added or discontinued at any time.

5. Purchases

• Real-money purchases (for example, Remove Ads or the coin packs) are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
• Purchases are handled under Apple’s standard terms. Refunds are requested from Apple, not from us.
• Remove Ads is a non-consumable purchase and can be restored with Restore Purchases in Settings. Coin packs are consumable and are used up once spent.
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes and account charges.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to cheat, exploit, tamper with saved data, reverse-engineer, or otherwise disrupt the Game, its leaderboards, or other players. Because rankings are meant to stay fair, buying coins never buys an advantage.

7. Leaderboards & Game Center

Global leaderboards use Apple Game Center and are optional. Signing in is only needed if you choose to post or view global scores, and it is governed by Apple’s terms. We may remove scores we reasonably believe to be fraudulent.

8. Advertising

Brain Bolt shows ads through Google AdMob unless you buy Remove Ads. On first launch the Game asks for App Tracking Transparency permission, and where required (the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) a consent form appears. You can change these choices in iOS Settings or from the in-app Privacy Settings. How ad data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

The Game, its artwork, the owl mascot, text and question content, and all related trademarks are owned by VibeDeV and VIBECORE DIGITAL or their licensors, and are protected by law. Your license does not transfer any of these rights to you.

10. Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary

These Terms are between you and VIBECORE DIGITAL only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Game or its content. To the extent these Terms differ from Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, that agreement governs where required. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

11. Disclaimer

Brain Bolt is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every question is free of mistakes.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Game after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
