Privacy Policy for Lumenroot (iOS)

1. Introduction

Lumenroot: Grow the Sky is developed by VibeDeV and published by VIBECORE DIGITAL ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how the app collects, uses, and shares information when you use it.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Automatically Collected Information

Lumenroot does not operate its own servers. Data leaves your device only through the third-party services listed in Section 7. Using Apple's App Privacy categories, the app collects:

  • Device or other IDs: Google AdMob collects your Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) and Apple's vendor identifier to serve and measure ads and to prevent ad fraud. On iOS the IDFA is only read if you allow it at the App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, ads still work and are simply non-personalised. Collected and shared with Google.
  • Approximate location: Google AdMob derives a coarse, IP-based region to serve and measure ads. This is not precise/GPS location, and the app never requests a location permission. Collected and shared with Google.
  • App activity (app interactions): Ad impressions, ad taps, and in-game events used to serve and measure advertising. Collected and shared with Google.
  • App info and performance (diagnostics): Device type, operating system version, and advertising-SDK performance data. Collected and shared with Google.
  • Financial info (purchase history): Which in-app items you own (for example currency bundles, Remove Ads, or the Season Pass), reported to the app by Apple's StoreKit so your purchases can be granted and restored. We never see or store your card or payment-instrument details. Those are collected directly by Apple.
  • Game Data: Gameplay statistics, progress, settings, collected Sky Sprites, and unlocked content. This is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to us or to any third party.

2.2 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
  • Precise (GPS) location
  • Camera or microphone access
  • Contact list or personal files
  • Social media accounts

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide and improve the game experience
  • Display relevant advertisements through AdMob
  • Process in-app purchases securely through Apple's App Store
  • Analyze app performance and fix technical issues
  • Save your game progress and settings locally

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with any party other than Google.

The following data is shared with Google (as a third party) for advertising and analytics purposes: your IDFA / vendor identifier, approximate (IP-based) location, app interactions, and diagnostics. This sharing is inherent to serving ads through Google AdMob and is not optional while ads are shown; purchasing Remove Ads stops banner and interstitial ads.

Purchase transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Your locally stored game progress is never shared. All of the above is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Our app is family-friendly but is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.

6. Data Security

All game data is stored locally on your device. We implement appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction of data.

7. Third-Party Services

8. Your Choices

  • Ad Personalization: You control tracking at the App Tracking Transparency prompt, and can change it at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining only makes ads non-personalised; it does not remove them.
  • Remove Ads: The in-app "Remove Ads" purchase disables banner and interstitial advertising. Optional rewarded ads remain available if you choose to watch them.
  • App Permissions: You can revoke app permissions through your device settings. Lumenroot requests only internet access; it does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, or storage permissions.
  • Data Deletion: All game data is stored on your device, so uninstalling the app permanently removes it. We hold no server-side copy of your data to delete. For questions about data held by Google, see Google's Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the Last Updated date at the top of this policy.
